Knot Workshop: Knots Knots Knots
Most sailing classes rush through knots or skip them entirely. This hands on workshop gives you the time, guidance, and repetition to truly learn and understand the essential knots sailors use every day.
Rope is provided, and all skill levels are welcome.

What You Will Learn
This class focuses on the most important knots for real world sailing. You will learn how to tie each knot, when to use it, and how to recognize clean, reliable knot work.
We will cover:
• Bowline, two variations
• Cleat hitch
• Figure eight stopper knot
• Reef knot, plus reefing practice with nettles
• Round turn and two half hitches
• Clove hitch
• One bonus knot for fun
Class Format
• Step by step instruction for each knot
• Repetition and practice until it clicks
• Real world examples on dock lines and rigging
• Individual help and coaching
• Group knot practice and light challenges
• Relaxed pace, with time to repeat as needed
